Mactan Cebu Internation Airport has officially announced that effective September 1, 2019, Internation Terminal Fee shall be incorporated with the ticket cost.
In this event, time-consuming lines at the Terminal Fee Counter can be avoided. However, there are still other factors to be considered (e.g pre-purchased tickets before the effective date and announcement). Thus, the MCIA authorities released the following guidelines to follow with the transition phase.
TERMINAL FEE PROCESS FLOW DURING TRANSITION PERIOD ( From September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2020)
Step 1: ALL PASSENGERS (including those who checked-in online) must proceed to respective airlinr check-in counter to validate if Terminal Fee has been paid already in the ticket
Step2: Proceed to Terminal Fee Counter for validation/payment.
For Non OFW
For paid Terminal Fee: A payment slip (zero receipt) will be attached on the boarding pass. For tickets without the Terminal Fee: Please prepare payment at the counter; a receipt shall be attached with the boarding pass.
For OFW
Please proceed to POEA counter first for validation of your documents
Step 3: Proceed to immigration and Security
